Last night was truly amazing! That short sentence should actually be in all caps because I seriously had the best time seeing some incredible bands with my little sister Caitlin and her friend Mallory. Caitlin and I arrived a little early so we spent some time walking around, going into some vintage clothing stores until we decided to stop at a burger joint for some burgers and to share an order of fries.
Margot finally took the stage at around 11:30pm and they started out and finished with the majority of my favourite songs from their old CDs and from their new one: Rut Gut, Domestic. I pretty much had goosebumps throughout the entire show and was just in awe at how much of an amazing band they are to see live. At around 12:30 the set was over, but since the crowd was screaming encore the band came back out and played a few more songs until 1am. They ended with "Christ" and I swear I teared up a little when he sung the words "you break my heart every night" at the end in such a sweet & innocent voice. Oh, Margot... <3
